OREANDA-NEWS   Mortality from cardiovascular diseases has decreased in Russia by 10%, said the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

"For cardiovascular diseases - COVID, unfortunately, gave an increase, since the infection itself gave, among other things, complications of a thrombophilic nature, caused thrombosis... And the situation today compared to 2019 is 10% lower than the mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases," Murashko said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He clarified that the coronavirus in the country has declined, as doctors have learned how to treat it.
