OREANDA-NEWS  The Kalashnikov Concern has launched the production of mobile control points for complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported in the press service of the concern.

"Kalashnikov Concern JSC has mastered the production of mobile control points (MPUs) for a state contract with NPO Izhevsk Unmanned Systems LLC. The MPU from the complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles serves to adjust the firing of high—precision ammunition," the message says.

It is noted that the control point was created on the chassis of a KamAZ-4350 all-terrain truck. The MPU is designed for transportation, storage and maintenance of a portable complex with UAVs. The concern stressed that the production was organized in the shortest possible time and handed over to the customer the entire batch of MPUs on time.

Earlier in December, it became known that the Lipetsk Mechanical Plant, which is part of the Kalashnikov concern, will begin repairing military equipment from the second quarter of 2024.
