OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he did not fully enjoy the interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, because he was waiting for sharp questions to which he was ready to give the same answers.

Putin explained that this "would give me the opportunity to respond sharply as well, which, in my opinion, would give a certain specificity to our entire conversation."

At the same time, Tucker chose a different tactic, Putin noted. The interviewer, according to the Russian president, although he interrupted him several times, he turned out to be surprisingly patient, listening to long dialogues concerning history.

At the same time, Putin added, the journalist did not give the Russian leader the opportunity to do what he was ready for.

"Therefore, frankly speaking, I did not get full pleasure from this interview," Putin said.

The head of state did not evaluate the content of the interview, stressing that it should be done by viewers, listeners and readers.
