It is clarified that Putin was congratulated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It is noted that the leaders discussed some key topics on the international agenda.

Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation applied for the post of head of state of Russia: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin. According to the latest CEC data, after processing 99.72% of the PEC protocols, Putin won 87.3% of the votes, Kharitonov - 4.3%, Davankov - 3.83%, Slutsky - 3.21%.
