OREANDA-NEWS  A terrorist attack was prevented at the railway station in Nalchik. This is reported by the Telegram channel SHOT with reference to a source.

According to the channel, security forces detained a 42-year-old local resident. Security forces searched his apartment in Blue Fir Lane and found out that the man rented a garage. Two bags of ammonium nitrate, a bag of nails and screws, bottles of solvents and two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which he had installed in a metal bucket, were seized from the rented garage.

It is noted that the Russian communicated with Ukrainian curators and planned to set off an explosive device on New Year's Eve at the railway station. A case has been initiated under articles 205 ("Terrorist act"), 223.1 ("Illegal manufacture of explosives, illegal manufacture, alteration or repair of explosive devices"), 222.1 ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, shipment or carrying of explosives or explosive devices") and "Preparation for a crime, manufacture and adaptation of instruments of crime"
