OREANDA-NEWS Ten athletes were hospitalized after visiting a swimming pool in a sanatorium in Sochi. This was announced on August 17 by the prosecutor's office in the Krasnodar Territory.
It is noted that after visiting the swimming pool of the Aurora sanatorium, the teenagers felt weak and unwell. After that, the athletes were hospitalized in a state of moderate severity with a diagnosis of "chlorine vapor poisoning". Currently, there is no threat to the life of minors.
The prosecutor's office of the Lazarevsky district of Sochi organized a check on the poisoning of children.
Earlier, on July 31, in the Leningrad region, children were poisoned by chlorine vapors during a birthday celebration in a restaurant with a sauna. The victims swam in the pool in a room where ventilation was practically not working.
