OREANDA-NEWS According to preliminary data, the total expenses of the Russian Federal budget for national projects as of March 1st amounted to 431.2 billion rubles. These figures are reported in the Ministry of Finance's website.

The highest level of spending was recorded in the "Culture" and "Science and universities" national projects (44.1% and 33.3%, respectively). The "Labor productivity" and "Healthcare" projects also saw significant progress (22.4% and 20.4%, respectively).

The "Digital economy of the Russian Federation" and "Demographics" projects saw a lower level of spending (18.1% and 17.5% respectively). The tourism and hospitality sector (15.7%), education (12.8%), ecology (12.3%), international cooperation and exports (7.9%), and housing and urban environment (6.4%) also saw some progress.The minimum performance targets were met for the national projects "Safe, high-quality roads" (6.2%), the comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure (transportation part) (5.4%), the national project for small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurship (2.6%), and the national project on unmanned aircraft systems (0.9%).
