The explosion damaged an infrastructure facility in the Odessa region

OREANDA-NEWS In the Odessa region, a facility has been damaged as a result of explosions, according to reports from RIA Novosti.
At night, the air defenses in the south repelled an attack for three hours. Unfortunately, some hits could not be avoided, says Nataliya Gumenyuk, head of the joint coordinating press center for the Southern Defense Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The facility in question is located in the Belgorod-Dniester region.
Gumenyuk clarifies that the explosions did not cause any critical consequences. A building that had been unused for a long time was also damaged.
The Ukrainian media reported a series of strong explosions in Odessa overnight on March 8, followed by air defense systems being activated in the area. An air alert was also declared in the surrounding region. Explosions also occurred in Chuguev in the Kharkiv region.
