OREANDA-NEWS Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko signed an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation during a working meeting in Minsk, the press service of the Krasnodar Territory administration reported.

"The parties signed a new agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation," the message reads. According to Kondratiev, the key area of cooperation is industrial cooperation.

"Together with Gomselmash, the assembly of combines and harvesters was launched in Ust-Labinsk. The site of the Minsk Tractor Plant for the production of two models of Belarus tractors in the Starominsky district has resumed work. We are developing cooperation with MAZ – the first grain carriers have already been assembled in Kropotkin. Thanks to our Belarusian partners, our agro–industry remains high-tech and does not slow down even under sanctions," the press service of Kondratiev's words reports.

The Governor stressed that within the framework of the agreements, joint ventures have regional support. Thus, agricultural machinery manufacturers receive compensation for providing customers with a 15% discount on equipment. This year, more than 110 million rubles are provided for the production of the Minsk Tractor Plant and Gomselmash.
