OREANDA-NEWS The investment forum in Sochi ended with agreements for 968 billion rubles. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak told reporters about the results of the Russian investment forum (RIF), which ends on Friday, February 15, in Sochi.
According to him, more than 8 thousand delegates took part in the forum in two days. This is more than last year (there were 5 thousand people). Also on the Russian investment forum came 79 regional leaders and a record number of participants from foreign countries. Most foreign businessmen came from the United States, there were 15 people, he stressed.
"According to the General assessment of the participants, the forum was successful in General," Kozak said. In his opinion, "interest in the forum and the Russian economy is growing."
Journalists, said Kozak, was also much more than in previous years-1380 people. Foreign media were represented by 16 journalists.
"There is significant progress in terms of agreements. 443 signed agreements for a total amount of 768 billion rubles excluding those agreements that contain trade secrets. At this time last year there were 184 agreements for a total amount of about 100 billion rubles," Kozak said.
Among the national projects, businesses are most interested in economic ones: international cooperation and exports, increasing labor productivity, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, implementing a comprehensive plan for the development of the main infrastructure, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
