OREANDA-NEWS  The State Commission decided to launch the first Angara-A5 space rocket from the Vostochny cosmodrome on April 10. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a representative of Roscosmos.

A Roscosmos source said that the State Commission approved the refueling and launch of the Angara on Wednesday, April 10. "The launch of the Angara-A5 launch vehicle with an Orion upper stage and a test payload from site 1A is scheduled for April 10 at 12:00:00 Moscow time," he said.

The first launch of Angara-A5 from Vostochny, scheduled for April 9, was canceled by automation. The launch of the carrier was postponed to a backup date — April 10.

The heavy Angara A5 was launched three times — in December 2014, December 2020 and December 2021. All launches of the carrier were carried out from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
