OREANDA-NEWS Russia and China have created a favorable environment for small and medium-sized businesses, but entrepreneurs of the two countries should openly and transparently conduct their business in accordance with the laws, Boris Titov, chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Chinese Friendship, Peace and Development Committee, authorized under the President of Russia to protect the rights of entrepreneurs, said on Friday.

"There is a problem that a Chinese entrepreneur, on the one hand, believes that the Russian market is dangerous and difficult, but, on the other hand, we see that there are many Chinese companies among small businesses that do not always comply with all the laws of the Russian Federation," Titov said.

He noted that today the task is to make relations between Russian and Chinese small businesses as transparent and open as possible, so that all entrepreneurial initiatives take place in full compliance with the law.

"This applies to both Chinese (entrepreneurs in Russia - ed.) and Russian entrepreneurs in China," he stressed.
Titov recalled that both Russia and China have a very preferential tax system.

"Today, a favorable atmosphere has been created for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in both Chinese and Russian Russia. The state helps and is very interested in developing this area, so we urge everyone to do business legally, openly, according to the law. Then everything will develop very quickly," he said.

Titov, at the head of the Russian delegation, is on a business visit to Beijing from November 29 to December 1, where the next plenary meeting of the Committee with the participation of the Chinese side took place on November 30.
