OREANDA-NEWS. On July 7th, the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications officially joined the Cybersecurity Alliance for Mutual Progress (Cybersecurity Alliance for Mutual Progress - CAMP).

With the accession to the CAMP, the Republic of Moldova will benefit from consultative and informational support to prevent and diminish the cyber-attacks.

The member organizations of CAMP will also have the opportunity to exchange training programs and information on cyber security in order to transform CAMP into a global organization dedicated to cyber threats prevention.

The CAMP intends to organize annual meetings with its members to identify the effective measures, concepts, standards and security guides, training and awareness activities, implementation of technical solutions for protecting cyber infrastructures in order to diversify and improve the investigation capabilities and prevention of cyber security incidents.

Currently, 38 organizations over the world are members of this alliance. For the next 3 years the Secretariat will be provided by the Korea Internet & Security Agency - KISA.
