OREANDA-NEWS. Readers of the German magazine Spiegel were indignant at the words of the Ukrainian ambassador Andriy Melnyk regarding German Chancellor Olof Scholz. Melnik had previously called the chancellor a "offended liverwurst". In the comments under the news on the magazine's website, users demanded that Melnyk be expelled from the country, and some advised the Ukrainian diplomat to go to the front.

The miller forgets that he is in Germany as an ambassador, he would be more useful at the front, - said the user under the nickname Mitdenker.

Unthinkable behavior of the ambassador. Let him return to his country, I don’t understand why he can get away with such words,” wrote Pauler.

On May 3, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk said that the German chancellor was behaving like an "offended liverwurst." Thus, the diplomat commented on Scholz's refusal to go to a meeting in Kyiv.

Earlier, Scholz said that he could not go to Ukraine. According to him, this is hindered by the decision of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky not to receive German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Kyiv.
