OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian art groups "Chorus of the Turkish" and "Soprano" performed on Wednesday in Buenos Aires with the concert "Songs of Unity", which completed their Latin American tour.

The artists presented world rock and pop hits, opera arias, romances, jazz, folklore and Soviet compositions. One of the final numbers was the performance of the song "May there always be sunshine" together with the children who came to the concert. The musicians gathered a full hall of the Astral Theater, designed for 1.2 thousand people. According to the organizers, there were more people who wanted to get to the concert, which was held with the support of the Moscow government and the Russian Foreign Ministry. Among the spectators were compatriots and Argentines. "I was at their concert last year and came again because I really like what they do. They charge with energy," an Argentine named Nicholas told TASS correspondent before the show.

Previously, the "Turkish Choir" and "Soprano" performed in Uruguay, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico. "I never even thought that we would like it here so much. We have never had time for this region before - we traveled between the European Union, the USA, Japan, China, the former USSR, and the USA again. Now there is time for Latin America," Mikhail Turk, the head of the collectives, told reporters after the concert.
