OREANDA-NEWS Despite the difficult market situation in 2016 Datsun managed to keep the dealership network, which has 69 dealers throughout Russia.

As the press service of Datsun informed the agency "AUTOSTAT", in the current market conditions, of course, not everyone dares to invest in the auto business. However, there are regions that have untapped potential for sales of Datsun cars.

"Firstly, we have replaced a partner in the South. This is due to the fact that one of our partners suspended its activities, not only by our brand. We received a huge number of calls from customers asking to reopen in the South and we have opened additional centers in Rostov, Novorossiysk and Krasnodar. In addition, we entered new markets for us in Arkhangelsk, Kurgan, Ufa and Stavropol. Dealer centers operate quite successfully, we are optimistic about our future in these cities. The measures taken to expand the list of cities of our presence does not affect greatly the figures by profits, because basically it is connected to the launch in the cities with untapped sales potential", - informed the press service of the Datsun.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT», Russian dealers Datsun sold 1107 cars in January, which is more by 10.6% than a year ago. As a result, the market share of the brand was 1.4% against 1.2% a year before, according to AEB data.

"In general we have good coverage by Russian regions, Volga and Central federal districts are the leaders by sales, and in each of them we have about 20 centers," - noted in the press service of the Datsun.
