OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ transferred KAMAZ-6282 electric bus into operation to the Leningrad NPP-Avto company, which is part of the Energoatominvest structure and it performs transportation and logistics tasks for nuclear power plants in Russia. The enterprise will test the possibilities of the new electric bus within two months, informs the press service of KAMAZ.

Low-floor electric bus KAMAZ-6282 of the second generation is adapted for low-mobility passengers, equipped with video cameras and satellite navigation. The model is equipped with lithium-titanate (LTO) batteries and it is charged even in low-temperature conditions. When using an ultra-fast charging station, the electric bus can restore the charge in 15 minutes. Due to the low weight of the batteries, the electric bus has the ability to carry a large number of passengers. Its total passenger capacity is 85 people.
