"Isuzu Rus" launched the production of heavy trucks
OREANDA-NEWS. The Ulyanovsk plant «Isuzu Rus» launched a line for assembling the trucks of the «C» and «E» series. Annually it is planned to produce about 400 heavy trucks. In subsequent years, the volume should reach two thousand cars. It will be cars with diesel engines of the «Euro 5» standard, informs the press service of the government of Ulyanovsk region.
In total, about 200 million rubles were invested in the production site. According to the company, currently 263 people are employed in production, this figure is expected to increase to 300 during the year.
In addition, Isuzu Rus is currently considering the creation of bus manufacturing in the Ulyanovsk region. «We are actively working on a project to produce buses. We made many steps forward in this direction. Production will be located in the Ulyanovsk region, and sold throughout Russia, «- said the general director of Isuzu Rus, Fabrice Gorle.
