OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ plans to increase the export of cars by 4.8% to 6.5 thousand cars in 2017, said the general director of the enterprise, Sergey Kogoghin.

"In 2016 we produced for the export 6.2 thousand cars. 6.5 thousand – is the plan for this year", - he said in the Russian investment forum in Sochi.

According to the company, for the last several years, KAMAZ reoriented exports from CIS countries to other foreign countries, says the agency "TASS". In 2015, cars were delivered to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, in 2016 - to Vietnam and Cuba, in 2017 the main supply will be to Vietnam, said the head of KAMAZ. 

"The basic direction – is Vietnam, but this year we expect that the economy of Kazakhstan will recover. We work in Turkmenistan, where we closed the largest contract for 1,6 thousand cars in the last year. In Turkmenistan it is continued a large amount of construction, and we look forward to continue the supply to this country, as there was created an infrastructure", - said Mr. Kogoghin.
