OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ plans to triple sales of trucks abroad in the next five years. At the same time, 50% of the total number of deliveries will be vehicles of a new model range, informs the press service of KAMAZ. In 2016, the growth in exports of KAMAZ vehicles grew by almost 10%: with taking into account the total sales of KAMAZ trade sites in Kazakhstan, the volume of foreign supplies was about 7,000 units.

Raphael Gafeev, General Director of JSC " Foreign Trade Company KAMAZ " explained that first of all the export growth will be due to the involvement of new large markets - Latin America, Asia, Indonesia, and Africa. "Already the first deliveries went to South Africa, now the cars are being tested by the customer. Until the end of the year, we must complete the development and master the production of four specially adapted for South Africa right-hand drive vehicles. The same cars will go later to the Indonesian market, "- said Raphael Gafeev.

In the first half of 2017 the most massive export market for KAMAZ was Cuba, in the second - significant deliveries to Vietnam are expected. VTK "KAMAZ" plans to realize a large contract with Senegal by the end of the year, within the framework of which it is planned to deliver up to 600 vehicles. A dealership agreement has been signed with Egypt and the terms of the contract are negotiated.
