Leaders of the TOP-10 best-selling foreign cars in Russia are three "Koreans"

OREANDA-NEWS. The most popular in the market of new foreign cars in Russia is the Korean model KIA Rio. The experts of the analytic agency «AUTOSTAT» came to such conclusion, when they made the rating of the best-selling cars in the country. By the results of the first half of the year, KIA Rio managed to shift the last year's leader Hyundai Solaris to the second place.
For six months of this year, Rio was bought by 46.2 thousand Russians, which is more by 17% than in January-June of 2016. In the first half of 2017, the hybrid Hyundai Solaris was purchased in the amount of 32.7 thousand units, which is less by 28.7% than a year ago. The Korean crossover Hyundai Creta entered the top-three of the best-selling foreign cars; its sales were 24.1 thousand units.
The top-five leaders were supplemented by the German Volkswagen Polo sedan (21,700 units, + 1,7%) and the French crossover Renault Duster (19,800 units, -15%).
