OREANDA-NEWS   The company Peugeot Citroen Rus plans that sales of certified cars with mileage will be at least 35% in relation to sales of new cars. The director of the department of corporate sales, commercial vehicles and cars with a mileage "Peugeot Citroen Rus" Sergei Kirillov informed about it the agency "AUTOSTAT".

By the results of 2016, by the Citroen Select program, it was sold 1635 certified cars with mileage (+ 65.2%), by the Peugeot program with mileage - 1506 cars (+ 22%). According to Sergei Kirillov, the positive dynamics is due to the growth of the car market with mileage, as well as proprietary programs for supporting trade-in for cars and commercial vehicles. Most of the cars that were sold under the program were cars accepted in the trade-in.

It is worth noting that in the programs of Peugeot with mileage and Citroen Select, cars with mileage under the age of 8 years or with a run up to 150 thousand km are involved, whereas for similar programs of other automakers these parameters are usually 5 years and 100-120 thousand km . "We have extended the time frame of the cars participating in the program to make it more accessible for more potential buyers. At the same time, we are confident that the standards of diagnostics and service, which is used by our dealers, allow us to maintain high consumer qualities of cars older than 5 years. The share of cars older than 5 years is quite large: in 2016 it was 20% for Citroen and 28% for Peugeot, " - said Sergey Kirillov.
