OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency «AUTOSTAT», for the last three years, three-year foreign cars with mileage increased in price by 28.7%. At the same time, the price range for individual models is very wide - from 10 to 50%. According to the director of the agency «AUTOSTAT», Sergei Tselikov, the large spread in the price dynamics is due to the fact that some popular models upgraded radically, while others only underwent minor changes.

For example, three years ago (March 2014), the average cost of the Ford Focus of 2011 model year was 510 thousand rubles. Now the sellers ask for a three-year «Focus» more by 15.4% - 587.5 thousand rubles. A similar dynamics (+ 16%) is also observed for the second most popular foreign car Hyundai Solaris. In the spring of 2014, the three-year «Solaris» was estimated by sellers at the price of 455 thousand rubles, and now they are asking almost 530 thousand rubles for this model. Kaluga Volkswagen Polo added to the price only 10.4% and this model of the 2014 model year can now be bought at the price of 500 thousand rubles.

A more significant price increase (+ 26%) was recorded for the Korean model KIA Rio. Three years ago, a three-year «Rio» cost 410 thousand rubles, and now it is estimated by sellers at 535 thousand rubles. A similar price increase (+ 26%) was recorded for the Czech Skoda Octavia. Approximately 30% rose prices for the two popular sedans of the Japanese concern Toyota - Corolla and Camry.
