OREANDA-NEWS The American-Uzbek joint venture "GM-Uzbekistan" plans not only to gain a foothold in the Russian car market with its new brand Ravon, but at least regain the lost positions.

Last year in Russia, the success of Ravon was relatively modest: all dealers sold only 1,811 vehicles. But the dynamics was positive, and from month to month sales grew - in November and December, almost 500 cars. And this year the new brand is going to expand significantly the dealer network - from the current 53 to 120 dealers. And it is planned to open showrooms in all significant Russian cities - from Murmansk to Khabarovsk.

The sales plan for 2017 looks at first sight fantastic: 50 thousand cars (growth almost in 28 times!). But the company has quite serious trump cards. Now in the model range there are only 4 cars: R2 (former Chevrolet Spark), Nexia R3 (Chevrolet Aveo of the previous generation), R4 (rebuilt Chevrolet Cobalt) and Gentra (former Chevrolet Lacetti sedan). Prices for them are set very competitive (from 439 to 800 thousand rubles).

And in the nearest future the company plans to bring to our market some more "S-class sedan" and "urban crossover B-class." If we assume that by such a "veiled" way the popular Chevrolet brand comes back to us, it is easy to calculate that the sedan used to be called Cruze, and the crossover - Tracker (we had a good sale of its "twin brother" Opel Mokka).

In addition, Ravon offers good conditions for dealers, and for buyers - a loan of 9.9% per year and original gifts. For example, everyone recievs a branded smartphone with already "wired" program Ravon Assistant, which involves a quick and free call of technical assistance, a record for repairs and maintenance, etc.
