OREANDA-NEWS Subaru Motor Company announced the prices for a compact crossover Subaru XV of a new generation, sales of which will start in Russia on October 25th, 2017. The initial cost of the Subaru XV 2018 model year is 1 million 599 thousand rubles. The basic equipment includes a permanent all-wheel drive, a stepless Lineartronic transmission, a Start-Stop system for fuel economy in traffic jams, seven airbags, an infotainment system with a color touch screen, climate control, a tire pressure monitoring system and much more.

The new Subaru XV is equipped with the EyeSight driver assistance system. It includes the functions of adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, warning about leaving the occupied lane, as well as active traffic control on the lane. The initial cost of XV with EyeSight is 1 million 869 thousand 900 rubles. The basic version with EyeSight also includes LED lights and daytime running lights, heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, rear-view camera, rails and other options.

Gasoline engines with the volume of 1.6 and 2.0 L, which work in pair with modernized stepless transmission Lineartronic. The new Subaru XV is equipped with the X-Mode system, which is designed to improve the running performance of the off-road car and on slippery surfaces. The system allows you to change the parameters of the engine, transmission, all-wheel drive and stabilization system. In addition, it includes a descent assistance system.

As for safety, the new XV is equipped with a complex of systems for detecting the car moving behind, the system of dynamic cornering lights (SRH), as well as automatic control of high-beam headlights (HBA) and ERA-GLONASS system. The choice will be available in nine variants of exterior colors, including new gray-blue and orange. Subaru XV was the first model of the brand, built on the basis of the new platform Subaru Global Platform (SGP), which allowed the increasing of rigidity of the body and chassis by more than 70%, compared with the previous generation. The car became longer (+15 mm) and wider (+20 mm).
