Since the beginning of the crisis, the Russian car market has left a third of models
OREANDA-NEWS. The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey of the market of new cars in Russia for the number of sold models. According to the results of the research, in the last year the Russian market officially sold more than 270 models of passenger cars.
Considering the fact that at the end of 2014 this figure exceeded 410 units, experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" came to the conclusion that the market was left by about 140 models of cars since the beginning of the crisis, which corresponds to one third of the previous number.
Azat Timerkhanov, the head of the press service of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", notes that in the conditions of the falling market, manufacturers are forced to bet on more running models that are in demand.
