EY Will Appraise Assets and Deloitte Will Audit Statements of Naftogaz
OREANDA-NEWS. The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (MEDT) has appointed PJSC "Deloitte & Touche USC" (a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited) to audit the group's consolidated IFRS-based financial statements for 2015 and 2016. The auditor offered the lowest bid of UAH 32.48 million in an open tender announced by Naftogaz.
MEDT has also appointed Ernst & Young LLC (a member of EY) to conduct an independent appraisal of Naftogaz assets and enterprises in which Naftogaz owned at least 51% of shares as at 31 December 2015. EY was selected through an open tender procedure where it submitted the lowest bid of UAH 15.80 million.
Both EY and Deloitte are among the four largest international professional services networks, offering audit, assurance, tax, consulting, advisory, actuarial, corporate finance, and legal services.
