OREANDA-NEWS. In Togliatti, on April 28th there was a meeting of the Committee of cooperation development and production localization of car industry. The participants discussed the current state of the industry in the production sphere and use of automotive components. The meeting was attended by the President of AVTOVAZ, Nicolas Moore, Vice-President of the Russian Engineering Union, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry, Vladimir Gutenev, and other top managers of the plant and component manufacturers.

Thus, the authorities went to open dialogue with component manufacturers, they have taken their expectations and told about the possible public support measures. Thus, it was discussed the idea of creating of a single intelligent supply planning system: it could connect the interested in it suppliers, upload and download information about materials, prices, orders, and so forth.

The problem of support for automotive manufacturers is long overdue, and events around AvtoVAZ, associated with the loss of the plant, only spurred attention to this issue. Vladimir Gutenev made it clear that the authorities are very critical about a number of solutions of former AvtoVAZ managers and they intend to reverse the situation.

According to Mr. Gutenev, in recent years, Samara region, Togliatti in particular, is faced with the fact that the production of components reduced greatly, and it is an important component of the regional economy. "And not always the objective circumstances, in our view, influenced on the decision-making", - Mr. Gutenev told the reporters.

AVTOVAZ was also criticized: representatives of the authorities, perhaps openly doubted the feasibility of transferring of LADA Vesta production to Izhevsk. "We are faced with not always well thought-out decisions of the previous leadership of AvtoVAZ”, - stated Mr. Gutenev. – “And the losses that were incurred by the plant, also were connected with the unamortized equipment due to the transfer of site to Izhevsk, and it was pretty big decision. We have seen how often the products of good quality, produced on the territory of the Samara region, were not bought. And there were bought Turkish components that were more expensive and not better by quality".
