OREANDA-NEWS. The Chelyabinsk Pipe plant has successfully passed an oversight audit of its integrated management system (IMS) for compliance with the requirements of international standards. The inspectors of auditing firm SAI Global have confirmed that ChelPipe’s Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001:2008; its Occupational Health and Safety Management System complies with OHSAS 18001:2007 and its Environmental Management System is in accord with ISO 14001:2004.

The auditors inspected five shops manufacturing seamless pipes and large-bore pipes along with the support services. The inspection  covered all the aspects related to the environment, industrial and occupational safety, the quality of products. The auditors gave high praise to ChelPipe’s processes and White Metallurgy production system. They noted the plant’s state-of the-art processes, occupational discipline and high quality of products.

The IMS international certification proves the stability and reliability of the products manufactured by the Chelyabinsk Pipe plant. The prolongation of the international certificates is validated by the company each year.
