OREANDA-NEWS. Nissan has stopped sales in Russia of Juke crossovers and sedans Teana. Information about these models disappeared from the official website of the brand, although the cars can still be found at some dealers.

«Juke - is one of the few imported cars in the line of the brand in Russia and, therefore, it depends on the exchange rate. The high dollar and the euro have made the price of this model not very profitable, "- commented the Director of Public Relations of Nissan office, Roman Skolsky, for "Rossiyskaya Gazeta. He did not rule out that if the ruble strengthened, the company once again resume deliveries of Juke. At the same time, the new crossover Nissan Kicks, recently introduced in Brazil and it was called the alternative of Juke by media, is prematurely to be expected in the Russian market, according to Roman Skolsky.

But Teana went from Russia, apparently. This business sedan was removed from the production at the Nissan plant in St. Petersburg in October of last year, by freeing the capacity for production of more promising in terms of demand Qashqai crossover, and now there are completed sales of warehouse stocks of dealers. « Production resumption of Teana is not planned," - said Roman Skolsky. Of course, there is no issue about the import of model in the current environment.
