OREANDA-NEWS. Following a full review, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has today upgraded Circle Anglia Ltd (trading as 'Circle Housing') Governance rating to a compliant G2.  They have re-affirmed its top Viability rating as V1.

The HCA's regulatory judgement outlines that Circle Housing has significantly improved its repairs and maintenance performance and as a result is now compliant with the required regulatory standards.  It states that Circle Housing has:

·     Implemented all recommendations from the review of its repairs and maintenance service and broader governance

·     Put in place governance, operational and performance monitoring structures which support risk management, internal control, service delivery and statutory compliance

·     Set out plans to simplify its federated group structure

·     Strengthened its Board and Executive Team

Mark Rogers, Chief Executive Officer of Circle Housing said, "It's been our top priority to return our repairs and maintenance service to a standard that we expect for our customers.  I am pleased that today's announcement by the HCA to restore our compliant governance grade confirms we are going in the right direction and have made significant improvements over the past year.  On average over the last 12 months we have completed 94.1% emergency repairs on time, far exceeding the sector benchmark of 89%."
