Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, the corporation of physicians, providers and staff providing medical care and services to Kaiser Permanente Hawaii members, announced the addition of Andrew Yeh, Ph.D., as director of analytics and Julianne Chun, J.D., as director of corporate compliance and associate general counsel.

As director of analytics for HPMG, Yeh will set the vision and direction for technical development initiatives, ensure the quality and validity of analytics outputs, and develop data driven strategies to improve health care quality and delivery. He received his master’s degree and doctorate in physics from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. Most recently, he served as program manager and senior research scientist at the Xerox Innovation Group in Honolulu, managing a portfolio of services related data analytics projects. He brings more than 17 years of experience in research, development, engineering and operations, as well as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification to his new role.

Julianne Chun has returned home to Hawaii after nearly 20 years of experience in health care law and corporate compliance, bringing extensive experience in clinical research, a growth area for HPMG. As HPMG’s new director of corporate compliance and associate general counsel, Chun will direct HPMG’s overall compliance efforts, with emphasis on proactive education and training of physicians and medical providers on regulatory matters related to clinical research, privacy and security, medical documentation and billing and coding; she will also advise on business and medical-legal issues. Most recently, Chun served as the corporate compliance officer at City of Hope in Duarte, California, where she led the corporate compliance program. She previously worked at Beth Israel Deaconess in the Boston area and with the Latham & Watkins law firm in Los Angeles. Chun received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
