OREANDA-NEWS. Young specialists of the United Engine Corporation (a Rostec State Corporation company) have won at once in two skills of Rostec Corporate WorldSkills Competition that was held on August 22 - 27 in Tula. This is the best result among the results of all holdings participated in the event.

The Rostec competition covered the following skills: CNC Turning; CNC Milling; Engineering Graphics - CAD; Welding Processes; Electronics; Life Cycle Management (skills developed based on the TechnoPRORYV corporate program). The UEC team competed in five skills.

NPO Saturn (Rybinsk) CNC operator, skill-category 5, Aleksandr Soloviev has become the best turner, Kuznetsov PJSC (Samara) electrical/gas welder Anton Abankov has become the best welder. They have already won in the corresponding nominations in the UEC Corporate Competition before. CNC operator, skill-category 4 from NPO Saturn Aleksandr Venikov has come second in the skills CNC Turning, the design engineer of UEC-PM JSC (Perm) Konstantin Ermakov captured bronze in the Engineering Graphics - CAD. The team of eight representatives of UMPO PJSC (Ufa) has become the best in the nomination the Best Production Technique of the Life Cycle Management skills.

“We are proud of the achievements of our young specialists in Tula,” General Director of UEC JSC Aleksandr Artyukhov says. “The Corporation will go on to actively develop the guideline of professional skills competitions and contests, including WorldSkills competitions. It is very important for us that young specialists of UEC should not only be familiarized with the international quality standards, but could assess their skills in a serious competitive struggle with the best representatives of other industrial enterprises and holdings of Russia”.

The UEC team included also representatives of UEC-GT JSC (Rybinsk), Aviadvigatel JSC (Perm), Salyut Gas-Turbine Building Center JSC (Moscow), Baranov OMO (the Salyut affiliate in Omsk).

The right to represent UEC in the Rostec competitions was given to the specialists who had shown the best results during the UEC II Corporate WorldSkills Competition in engine-building held in Rybinsk within July 11 to 15. The UEC team in Tula included 17 young specialists and 9 experts. Winners of Rostec competition will join the all-Rostec Team to take part in the III National Competition of cross-industry professions of high-tech industries - WorldSkills Hi-Tech-2016 in Ekaterinburg (to be held from October 30 to November 3).

Successful performance of the UEC team was possible thanks to close cooperation of the competition participants with the experts, i.e. experienced specialists of the corporate companies that possess significant practical and theoretical knowledge and experience in certain skills. In nominations where UEC has got winning places the corporation specialists have been trained and supported by Senior Foreman of vocational training from NPO Saturn PJSC Training Center Sergei Dmitriev, Specialist in vocational training of the same center Sergei Burov, Senior Foreman of the production area from Kuznetsov PJSC Aleksei Trushin, Head of the Design Bureau UEC-PM JSC Igor Tunev.

Representatives of UEC-JSC Chernyshev MME from Moscow participated in the competition in the team of OOO MRO Russian Engineering Union. They have won in the nomination the Best HR-Policy in the Life Cycle Management skills.
