OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation (UTair Aviation JCS) transported 1,844,172 passengers in January through September 2006, up 33.9 percent from the same period last year. Specifically, the airline’s passenger traffic added 26.7 percent rising to 2,880,701,500 passenger kilometers.

In January through September, the volume of mail and cargo carried by UTair’s transport aircraft climbed 16.0 and 17.7 percent. Airplane flying time was reported at 82,241 flying hours, up 16.7 percent from the same period last year.

UTair helicopters were in service for 44,442 flying hours, up 12.4 percent from a year earlier, showing a 6.7 percent increase in cargo transportation which stood at 43,504.7 tonnes.
