OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has today affirmed First Ukrainian International Bank's ("FUIB") ratings at Issuer Default 'B-' (B minus), Short-term 'B', Individual 'D' and Support '5'. The National rating is affirmed at Long-term 'BBB(ukr).' The Outlooks for the Issuer Default and National ratings remain Stable.

The ratings of FUIB reflect the risks associated with its ongoing rapid growth, its still high levels of concentration on both sides of the balance sheet, potentially vulnerable liquidity and currently moderate profitability.

However, the ratings also take into account the bank's reasonable risk management systems (for Ukraine), improved capitalisation, modest market risks and reasonable asset quality to date.
