OREANDA-NEWS. Power Machines has successfully tested and commissioned Tehri HPP (India) second power unit. Power Machines has successfully carried out 72-hour continuous tests and commissioned the Teri HPP (India) second power unit.

As it was reported earlier, in September 2006 Power Machines commissioned the first 250 MW power unit for Tehri HPP functioning till now without any remarks.

Power Machines has totally supplied four hydrounits of 250 MW each (turbine runner diameter is 4,1 m, rotation rate is 214,3 r/min) as well as valves, gates and auxiliary equipment.

Besides that, the company supervises hydrounits and auxiliary equipment assembling carried out by the largest Indian company BHEL.
