OREANDA-NEWS. ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria has officially signed the extension of a USD 625 million syndicated loan facility on December 13, 2006.

The syndicate comprises a geographically diversified group of investors represented by 25 international financial institutions. The facility was announced to the market on 31 October 2006 with the initial amount of USD 400 million. The market showed high confidence in Raiffeisenbank resulting in a commitment of more than USD 600 million. Therefore, the final loan facility amounts to USD 625 million. The facility is structured as a 3-year tenor with a bullet repayment.

The Bookrunners were ABN Amro Bank N.V., CALYON, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. and WestLB AG.

The largest facility in Raiffeisenbank's history will be used for general corporate funding purposes, i.e. financing the growing loan portfolio which exceeded RUR 102.5 billion (approx. EUR 3.1 billion) based on Q3/2006 results.
