OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has today affirmed Russia's Nomos Bank's ("Nomos") ratings at Issuer Default 'B+', Short-term 'B', Individual 'D', Support '5' and National Long-term 'A-(A minus)(rus)'. The Outlooks for the Issuer Default and National Long-term ratings are Stable.

Also today, Fitch has assigned expected ratings of Recovery 'RR4' and Long-term 'B+' to Nomos's upcoming eurobond.

The ratings reflect the credit risk associated with continuing rapid asset growth, high concentration risk on both sides of the balance sheet and market risk stemming from the securities portfolio, as well as declining, albeit still sound, performance.

However, they also take into account the bank's good asset quality, adequate capitalization and relatively diversified funding base.
