OREANDA-NEWS. Rostelecom, Russia’s national long-distance telecommunications operator has launched a new high-speed digital line between Skovorodino, Aldan and Yakutsk.

The new line was introduced due to the growing demand for telecom services from both residential customers and businesses of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The line, stretching 1035 kilometers from Skovorodino (the Amur region) to Yakutsk through the towns of Tynda and Aldan, was constructed using SDH digital equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers.
