OREANDA-NEWS. The consortium of investors led by the Troika Dialog Company announces its withdrawal from the Arbat Prestige Company's capital and the sale of the company's 40% stock to General Director Vladimir Nekrasov. As a result of this deal, Mr. Nekrasov consolidates all of the 100% of common shares of the Arbat Prestige Co.

Early in 2004, Troika Dialog acquired 40% of the Arbat Prestige stock at $100 million, with the company's 100% stock then valued at $250 million. The Arbat Prestige revenues have since then grown more than 2.5-fold - from $130 million to $350 million.

This year, with the agreed period of investment expiring, Mr. Nekrasov made a proposal on redeeming the stake, at a fair valuation, from the investors' consortium headed by Troika Dialog. As a result of the deal, the consortium received $400 million for a 40% stake, on the strength that the company's 100% stock was valuated at $1 billion.

The price of the deal takes in the cost of the property owned by Arbat Prestige. Troika Dialog also came out as Mr. Nekrasov's consultant in raising part of the sum to fund the deal.
