OREANDA-NEWS. JSC SITRONICS (LSE:SITR) – the largest high-technology company in East Europe, announces the acquisition of 3.32% of ordinary shares in CJSC VZPP-Micron from BIPOLYAR LLC. As a result JSC SITRONICS is now owns 100% of CJSC VZPP-Micron.
 
In December 2006 JSC SITRONICS purchased 45.7% of VZPP-Micron shares from BIPOLYAR LLC for US$ 4.5m and increased its stake in VZPP-Micron from 51% to 97%.
 
VZPP-Micron (the former Voronezh Semiconductor Instruments Factory, founded in 1959) is a producer of electronic power supply control components for customers in Russia and overseas, and is part of SITRONICS Microelectronic Solutions business division.
