OREANDA-NEWS. In January 2007, pulp and paper output by Corporation subsidiaries amounted to 223,9 thousand tonnes, 6,4% up as compared to January 2006.

Market pulp output went up 11% to 134,2 thousand tonnes. Board production went slightly down by 0,7% to 65,7 thousand tones. Paper production exceeded 22,5 thousand tones, 2% up year-over-year.

Pulping went up 9% to 222,3 thousand tonnes.

Total timber supply by Ilim Pulp’s subsidiaries was 24% up to the level of 2006 at 544 thousand cubic meters.
