OREANDA-NEWS. On 15th of March there was hold a first joint meeting of Sverdlovsk region authorities with power companies’ representatives which was meant to discuss the process of execution of Agreement on co-operation for realization of capital spending projects on building and reconstruction of the sites of Sverdlovk power system, reported the press-centre of  Sverdlovenergo Public Company. On meeting you can listen to the reports on plan execution made by Viktor Pauli who is a leading technical inspector of “Unified energy system of Russia” Pubic Company, Sergey Pakhomov - assistant general manager on technical issues of “Multiregion Distributive Network Public Company of Ural and Volga”, Mikhail Dralin - director general of Sverdlovenergo as well as representatives from other power companies of Sverdlovsk region.


Power engineers emphasized that in three months after making a contract, companies started the realization of primary building and reconstruction projects of the sites situated in Sverdlovsk region. Mikhail Dralin stated in his report that “Realization of Sverdlovenergo projects is made right according to the agreed time schedule. It is planned to build 17 new power objects in 2007. Large-scale work on preparation of necessary documentation and conduction of competitive procedures is already made. There will be continued work on reconstruction of the sites and implementation of advanced scientific technologies together with commissioning of new facilities”.

One significant result of the meeting is a creation of standing commission which will control the course of building of the sites in Sverdlovsk region. It will include the representatives of regional industrial ministry, electric-power industry and sciences, “Unified energy system of Russia” Pubic Company and the heads of power grid companies. It should be mentioned that Agreement signed in December by Sverdlovsk regional authorities and “Unified energy system of Russia” Pubic Company is dedicated on exclusion of the possible power shortage under the conditions of increasing power consumption to preserve and promote development of economics and social sphere of Sverdlovsk region.
