OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April the managers of the well-known Russian metallurgic companies met in “KAMAZ” Inc. to exchange experience of on-line tender implementation.

The most Russian enterprises choose this perspective purchase scheme: the representatives of “Mechel”, “Izhstal”, “Magnezit”, “EvrazHolding” “MMK”, “ZMZ”, “NLMK” and others took part in the arrangement held on the basis of “KAMAZ-Metallurgy” Plc.

The metallurgic block of “KAMAZ” became the “moderator” of the thematic meeting not by chance. This is the first department of the company where the competitive tender was successfully implemented. For already several years the cooperation with suppliers of goods and services has been settled on-line, on the “TenderPro” site. Since the introduction of know-how the enterprise has made more effective purchases, and costs have significantly decreased. Other departments of “KAMAZ” Inc. passed on to the new scheme of purchases as well.

According to Nikolay Plotnikov, Director of Economics and Finance of “KAMAZ-Metallurgy” Plc., the idea of “TenderPro” demanded detail discussion. Judging by the colleagues’ opinions, the thematic meeting was effective. The participants shared their successful experience and discussed the problems they have to face on the first stages of the on-line system implementation. As it turned out, the experts of different organized structures meet with similar differences by purchase.
