"Kievans have been carrying flowers to the Eternal Flame since the morning of May 9," the publication says.

In addition, it is claimed that there is a wreath from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the park. However, it is not known when it was laid. In the photos published by the publication, you can also see that police officers are on duty at the fire.

Since 2015, Ukraine has not officially celebrated Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, where the holiday was renamed Victory Day over Nazism in World War II, its date is May 8.
