OREANDA-NEWS. Since 1 May 2007 AFPS of Russian Post in Perm region will be renamed in AFPS in Perm territory, reported the press-centre of  Russian Post. AFPS in Perm has been granting services not only in Perm region but within the territory of Komi-Perm Autonomous Area earlier. This regional branch took the first rank among ones in Privolzhskiy Federal District. The branch includes 16 hubs, 704 post offices 504 of them are situated in rural areas. The decision to rename the AFPS was adopted due to establishment of Perm region, new constituent entity of the Russian Federation unifying Perm region and Komi-Perm Autonomous Area. Currently, postal employees in Perm branch hold full-scale program on reregistration of documents. However this process doesn’t affect work of post offices.
