OREANDA-NEWS. On April 24, 2007 the 10th Russian Economic Forum, held annually in London, finishes. At this year’s Forum, JSC SITRONICS was a partner of the round table discussion ‘Russia and Kazakhstan: natural partners, united by “new economics”’, reported the press-centre of  SITRONICS. President of JSC SITRONICS Evgeny Utkin, Chairman of the EABR Board, Igor Finogenov, President of Quasar - Micro, Maxim Ageev, Co-Head of Investment Banking, Renaissance Capital, Andrew Cornswate, Vice President of APCO Worldwide, the former Ambassador of USD in Kazakhstan, Elizabeth Jones, gave speeches at the round table and General Director of Analytical Agency J’Son & Partners, Carl Johannenson, chaired the debate.


Kazakhstan and Russia are natural partners in the Eurasian region: Both countries are actively developing energy exports and recognise the necessity to decrease dependency on primary industries. Despite the fact that the two countries are pursuing different models for economic transformation, they both aspire to basing their economies on knowledge and innovation.
