OREANDA-NEWS. On 26th of April there was held a meeting the main issue of which was formation of the board of young specialists in Sverdlovenergo.

This event was visited by young volunteers working in the executive body of the company: rep-resentatives of finance, legal, economic planning departments as well as the head of economic planning department, Elias Shevelev, the head of personnel department, Elena Tarasova and the head of business planning department, Sergey Ostanin.

A practice of formation of youth unions (such as Board of young specialists) was a common thing at the enterprises of USSR and especially in the sphere of energetics. Nowadays the major part of workers in Sverdlovenergo is composed of young people; there are more than 100 people up to the age of 32 if to take only people working in the executive body of the company.

According to the questionnaire survey made by personnel department, a great number of respon-dents would like to join such board of young specialists. Some respondents are no strangers with the work of a manager of different events: organization of corporative events, hikes, panel games; some of them have been already the heads of school and institute’s groups or taken part in organization of agitation, seminars, selection of actors for holidays. Others do not have such an experience but in any case the most part of respondents said that they would like to join such an organization.

According to the results of questionnaire it is possible to define some trends of current interest for the Board of young specialist:

• Organization of leisure-time activities – organization of corporative events, hikes, con-tests, panel games, concerts
• Handling a problem of accommodation for young specialists
• Organization of training, conferences, seminars and other forms of self-development and skill development
• Individual project is a creation of “space” for intercommunication: let it be net space, for example on the corporative site
• Other directions…

According to the results of the meeting, the participants took a decision to widen the circle of people who take part in the creation of youth organization in Sverdlovenergo Public Company. It can be done by the volunteers who being the members of separate groups work on development of possible directions of work for the Board of young specialists. The results to be expected are different presentations on possible direction of work of the board which would be made by their developers on the extended session that is planned on 16th of May, 2007.
