OREANDA-NEWS. On April 27, 2007 the Board of directors of OAO UTair Airline (UTair Aviation) has summed up the final stage of the closed contest to choose the company responsible for action plan performing to deploy SAP AG ERP solutions. IBS was announced as the winner of the contest, reported the press-centre of IBS.
Annual income growth of UTair Aviation by more than 40% for last years, boosting of serviced passenger traffic, expansion of the airline’s flight geography, as well as necessary to meet requirements of admitted international standards were the preconditions for deployment of the corporative control system based on the up-to-date information technologies.
By the end of this year, an unified project team of the airline’s personnel and IBS experts will complete a pilot project for improving of information support in the area of material assets movement control.
In future, it’s planning to scale the pilot configuration in all activities of UTair Aviation, to automate report and management accounting on the base of SAP ERP platform, to deploy budgeting systems, corporative accounting and human resource management.
