The Verysell Group of Companies, Renaissance Investment Management’s Pre-IPO Fund, and the International Private Equity Fund, Steep Rock, Announce an Investment Agreement
OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2007. Renaissance Investment Management’s Pre-IPO Fund, and the private equity fund, Steep Rock, have joined the Scandinavian private equity fund, Mint Capital, and the British private equity fund, RP Explorer Fund, a subsidiary of the RP Capital Group, in an investment agreement first announced by Verysell in March of 2007. Consequently, as of January 2007, Verysell’s overall investment portfolio increases to 50 million USD, which stands as a record in the Russian IT business market for attracting capital, reported the press-centre of Verysel.
The accumulated capital investments will be allocated to widening Verysell’s sphere of business activity, and to prepare for an entrance into the equity market within the next two to three years.
Mikhail Krasnov, President of the Verysell Group of Companies, offered the following commentary, “We recognize the long-term advantage of re-shaping our business to conform to the highest international standards, and therefore are pleased to strengthen our team with experienced specialists. The expertise our investors bring to the table will promote growth for Verysell and expedite the implementation of strategic plans in preparation for a potential penetration into the open capital market.
Gross sales for the Verysell Group of Companies in 2006 totaled $470 million, $244 million of which came from systems integration and consulting activities, with distribution accounting for 226 million USD.
